Kurzbeschreibung​

The Professorship of Laser-based Additive Manufacturing conducts research across the entire process chain for the production of plastics, metals, and hybrid materials. This includes material development, innovative process strategies, automation solutions, and quality assurance. The holistic approach aims to facilitate the industrial implementation of advanced additive manufacturing technologies. Research activities are structured into five key areas:

  • Quality Assurance in PBF-LB/P
  • Hybrid Additive Manufacturing
  • Laser-Material Interaction
  • Process Monitoring in PBF-LB/M
